This is the second time my family has brought my 90+ mother to this facility. My father passed here 10 years ago and our care even then was impeccable. There is no "perfect" nursing home, but in comparison to The Victorian Inn and The Pavilions, the care, concern, humor, family atmosphere of Medilodge of GTC outranks them all. Mind you, people get out of life what they put into it, so because of our positive attitude, we very often are treated with the highest respect. We are also very attentive to our parents, visiting them on a regular basis, keeping track of their daily progress. I would highly recommend you meet with Heidi and the gang here to see the warmth, camaraderie, and family atmosphere!

I came here from the hospital and I am glad they sent me here! They are all great and very caring, very devoted employees! The facility is very clean and organized. The members who work here are fantastic and very caring!

I would like to thank the employees of MediLodge of GTC for their wonderful attitude to their patients, I was recently one. I never had a concern after any request, they treated me like a patient should be treated. They dropped everything to make me feel like was number 1. I have had experience with other facilities in the area. After a tour from Melissa and the obvious personal care shown here, it became our first choice. Melissa made the transition seamless. Heidi obviously is an excellent leader. Jan & Tina were nurses that made us feel like "people," not "patients." Diane was upfront. If life brings you to the need for this care, MediLodge is the 5-star choice. The personal care of each and every staff makes your recovery seem like you're being cared for by loving family.

On behalf of Treva Jaffe's family, I would like to express our sincere gratitude for the excellent care she received in the last weeks of her life. All of you responsible for her daily care were so beautiful, attentive, and compassionate towards her, which is why she liked it so well. This was a true gift to our family, and truthfully a bit of a surprise! We had tried for two years to get her into some sort of facility, and she fought us tooth and nail. Some of you have the battle scars to remind you of just how stubborn she could be when she didn't want to do something! So for her to be so content and extremely complimentary of the staff speaks volumes about the fantastic and vital work you do every day. It takes special people to do what you do, and I just wanted you to know how very much it was appreciated.

I chose this center thru a phone call. They could take me right away and they had the equipment for which I needed and the therapy. The Physical Therapy team really stood out. They are so caring and do their best to encourage to work harder to reach your goal. They are a wonderful group as a whole. Everyone was so nice and caring. You have an excellent staff!

The staff at MediLodge of Grand Traverse County was conscious and aware of our wants and needs---going above and beyond their duty with us. They were also kind, compassionate, and always thoughtful.

My experience at MediLodge of Grand Traverse County has been an enjoyable time and also a relief, for I am getting older. They have given me a home and a family here---which means so much to me. The staff is great, and the residents are nice and very friendly!

The reason I chose this center is that it was recommended as being the best-skilled nursing home to help (my loved one) Helen with her medical problems. There are too many specific team members to mention that showed Barabara such care and compassion. Even as her dementia deepened, they treated her with loving care. Having had family members in other nursing homes, I noticed that it was always clean, smelled fresh, and that was always nursing staff working to help the residents.
